It was a very bad week to be a pro-abort at the University of Washington. We will see whose signs are most vividly recalled as time goes by. Welcome to Red Square - now, where is Lenin's tomb? A non-leftist perspective, convincingly argued, was a novel experience for Seattle.
GAP provided a tune-up opportunity for some of the same folks who would besiege the World Trade Organization Conference a few weeks later; the difference was that we won. Cheree Bartlett sets the record straight. Open minded students were more numerous than this campus' reputation had led us to expect. We may have reached a higher percentage of the student body at the University of Washington than at any other school at which we have exhibited.

GAP has an unsettling effect on what many perceive to be a settled issue. Even with fifteen to twenty CBR staff members on site, we often had our hands full with the volume of questions we encountered.
Gen-X: If they can't see it, it isn't real. Foreign visitors contemplate GAP on a campus tour. Their guides hurried them by but the pictures broke the language barrier and they obviously got the point. The founding fathers would be proud. For pro-aborts, this was a chilling scene; students actually thinking critically about abortion.
