Clenard Childress Jr., of the Life Education And Research Network, talks to IU students about the danger abortion poses to the African-American community. James Paul teams with a local volunteer to answer questions about GAP's reason for being on campus. Jane and Eric hand out copies of Why Abortion is Genocide while dialogueing with passing students. Whether students stop and talk or pass by in silence, the impact of GAP's pictures cannot be denied.
The Genocide Awareness Project provides pro-life students a great forum educating their peers concerning the reality of abortion. Though the administration went to great lengths to keep GAP constrained to an off beat portion of their campus, free speech eventually won out and we were given opportunity to set up just inside IU's Sample Gates. GAP's two-story exhibit provides a sobering backdrop for these reflective students.
