Dear CBR Supporter,
I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to you for the impact that your involvement has had on my campus here at the University of Georgia (UGA).
On April 3rd and 4th of 2002, the Center for Bio-Ethical Reform (CBR) brought the Genocide Awareness Project (GAP) to UGA. The entire campus was talking about the issue of abortion. It opened up a community-wide discussion. We were able to debate the issue in our local papers, on the airwaves, and, most importantly, on a one-on-one basis with impressionable students.
So many were surprised about how little they really knew about this important human rights issue. I saw minds and hearts changed right before my eyes. The strategy of presenting the public with these emotional pictures and then backing them up with a logical and factual defense of the pro-life position is the most effective that I have seen. Our campus is a liberal one but it could not deny the truth of the pictures. I believe in GAP and its ability to effect change in our cultures view of abortion.
I cannot express my thanks enough to CBR and, ultimately, to you for helping us to make this project happen here in Georgia.
